Somebody pinch me because my dreams of publishing my stories is another step closer to coming true. I can’t believe this is really happening! This sweet, second-chance romance is the first story in the Unity Falls series. These stories are sweet, home town contemporary romances.
I’m really excited to share the adventures of this group of friends. I hope you find them as charming, caring, clever and funny as I do.
My idea for the series actually began with book two, Riley and the Love Jinx, and the question “What’s the most embarrassing thing that could happen?” I ended up with a huge list — more taken from my life than I care to admit. Riley and the Love Jinx really came together when I thought about how we come back from embarrassment and humiliation. Gradually, the idea sparked a prequel and then a series. Second Chance Donuts will be available September 30, 2022 and Riley and the Love Jinx release is planned for Spring 2023.
I finally came up with a logo for the series, though I’m not sure how much I will actually use it in the books. I liked it enough that I used it as a base for the Cleo Croft logo. Let me know if your interested in a post about developing a logo.
