Welcome to Small Town Winter – December Social Media Prompts
I love creating social media prompt calendars because I base them on things that I’m interested in or would talk about with my friends. I also have WWMUFCD (what would my Unity Falls characters do?) in mind when I create the prompts. Unity Falls is my fictional Canadian small town from my contemporary romance series. I enjoy imagining what the characters are up to in winter (well… all seasons really). I feel like my characters Riley, Kei, Harri and Danni would sit around a kitchen table and talk about them over cookies and latte.
Projects like these give me the Advent calendar feels. I love advent calendars. A tiny gift every day? Yes, please! I’m such a pigment and fountain pen fan that my unicorn advent calendar involves colors. Someday, I will purchase an Inkvent calendar from Diamine and bask year-long in fountain pen ink. Something chocolate would definitely be a close second.
Do you have a dream Advent calendar? Would you consider making your own?
Designing Choices
My brand colors tend to be shades of pink but I wanted the image of a cold winter night swirling with snowflakes. I don’t know if you noticed, but the bottom of my graphic is a winter version of my website header image. I dunno. Attention to detail or overkill? 🤣
How to use this calendar:
Here’s everything in one place so you can save it, share it, or use it however you like.
While this is presented as a daily calendar, you don’t need to follow the prompts in order. You don’t even need to do them all.
The important thing is that they inspire you — without pressure. Life is hard enough, so I hope this gives you something cozy and fun to look forward to. A text only list is below the graphic in case that’s more useful.
